Penguin & Polar Bear

These were created as Christmas designs - A stippled emperor penguin and polar bear, in part silhouette, each featuring a snowy scene. Inspired by the northern lights colours, I used purple, blue & green watercolour brushes in Procreate to add texture to give an overall wintery, magical feel!

Fave fact about emperor penguins: They are the tallest of all penguin species. At approximately 120cm, it's about the height of the average 6 year old child!

Fave fact about polar bears: Their skin is actually black and their fur is translucent and only looks white because it reflects visible light!
