A hand drawn Atlantic cod and common seal originally created as part of my Final Major Project at University, which aimed to raise awareness of the threat posed by plastic in our oceans and its impact on marine life. They are a part of a collection of seven illustrations, each featuring an animal highlighted in research as being among the most affected by the issue. These illustrations have gained recognition beyond the original project, with some selling as prints, making them an important part of my portfolio.
Fave fact about Atlantic cod: They can change colour! They have two distinct colour phases: grey-green and reddish brown
Fave fact about common seals: Their whiskers are so sensitive they can sense a fish over 35 metres away!
