Spike

This hedgehog, who I very 'originally' nicknamed Spike, was drawn and placed among a background of fern leaves representing trees, to complete a wintery scene for charity Christmas cards. Sales of the cards raised money for RSPCA Oak and Furrows.

Fave Hedgehog facts: They weren't always called hedgehogs! They used to be known as urchins which is where the naming of sea urchins came from.

They have over 5,000 spikes!
