Doing nothing leads to the very best of something

This is a quote from Winnie-the-Pooh from the movie, Christopher Robin. I hand-lettered this piece during the pandemic lockdowns. It felt like a fitting, positive perspective for the time we found ourselves in. I’ve been through periods of enforced ‘nothing’ before, and it eventually lead me to my career in graphic design, so I happen to think the wise old bear is onto something!

For the design, I used a bright, cheerful colour palette and made the sure the type interacted with each other in a playful way.
